CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Problems with contact lenses and lens care products can result in serious eye damage.

  • To properly use and care for your lenses and lens care products, it is essential that you follow your eye doctor's instructions and all labeling instructions, including the lens case.

  • Ocular problems, including corneal ulcers, can develop rapidly and lead to vision loss.

  • Daily lenses should not be used at night while sleeping. Clinical studies have shown that the risk of serious side effects increases when these lenses are worn overnight.

  • Prolonged-use lenses should be removed regularly for cleaning and disinfection or disposal and replacement according to a schedule prescribed by the eye care professional.

  • Clinical studies have shown that prolonged wear contact lens wearers have a higher incidence of serious adverse reactions than daily wearers.

  • Studies have also shown that the risk of serious adverse reactions increases with extended wear before lenses are removed for cleaning and disinfection or disposal and replacement.

  • Studies have also shown that smokers have a higher incidence of side effects.

  • If you experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, eye redness, remove the lens immediately and contact your ophthalmologist immediately.

  • It is recommended that contact lens wearers see specialists twice a year or more often if instructed.

  • To avoid contamination of the solution or lenses:

  • Do not touch the tip of the container to any surface.

WARNINGS:

  • When not in use, always screw the cap tightly onto the bottle.

  • Store the solution at room temperature.

  • Use before the expiry date indicated on the can and bottle.

  • Use within 90 days of opening.

  • Do not use if the safety seal on the neck of the bottle is damaged or missing.

  • Keep out of the reach of children.

ADVERSE REACTIONS (problems and things to do):
You may experience the following problems: stinging, burning or itching of the eyes (irritation), less comfort than when the lens was first placed on the eye, some sensation in the eye (foreign body, scratchy area), excessive watering of the skin (tearing) of the eye, unusual eye discharge, blinking, reduced visual acuity (poor visual acuity), blurred vision, rainbows or halos around objects, photosensitivity (photophobia) or dry eyes.

If you experience any of the above:

Take the lens off immediately.

If the discomfort or problem goes away, look carefully at the lens.

If the lens is damaged in any way, DO NOT put the lens back on your eye. Place the lens in its holder and contact your eye care professional.
If there is dirt, eyelashes or other foreign matter on the lens or the problem disappears and the lens appears intact, clean, rinse and disinfect the lens thoroughly and then replace it.
If the problem persists, remove the lens immediately and contact your eye care professional.

Any of the above symptoms can be a serious condition such as infection, corneal ulcer, neovascularisation or iritis. To avoid serious eye damage, seek professional identification of the problem and immediate treatment.

Good Lens Care Practices
Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses.
Clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses each time you remove them.
To avoid mixing, always use the same lens, right or left, first.
Always empty and rinse the lens case with fresh rinse solution after use and allow to dry.
When wearing disposable lenses, discard and replace with a new lens each time you remove them.
